An Indian director, born in Bombay in 1972. He studied cinema at Bard College in New York and graduated in 1995. He made his debut with directing the documentary Thin Air (1999). He's known for John & Jane, which was screened at the Toronto International Film Festival and the Berlin International Film Festival in 2005, and Miss Lovely, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2012.
