An Egyptian art director, writer, and director, born on November 28, 1931, in Cairo. He earned a BA from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cairo in 1953 and a BA from the Faculty of Applied Arts in Cairo in 1957. He studied ceramic art for a year in the Soviet Union between 1958 and 1959, in addition to receiving several other degrees. He worked as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Applied Arts in 1957 then a professor in 1967. He became the head of the Department of Interior Design and Furniture in Applied Arts in 1974 and a member of the Programs Committee of the Egyptian Television, among other notable positions.
