A German actor and writer, born on January 4, 1976, in West Berlin. He studied acting at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts. His family moved around a lot, so he lived in Hamburg, Vienna, Düsseldorf, and Paris. He began his career in 1998. In 1999, he married actress Julia Malik, with whom he has two children. He plays the guitar and speaks Spanish, German, French, and English.
