A Dutch actor, producer, and director, born on January 23, 1944 in the Netherlands. He won the 1988 Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Escape from Sobibor. His work include Blade Runner, The Hitcher, Sin City, and Hobo with a Shotgun. He passed away on July 19, 2019 in Pietserswach, Netherlands.
