American actor, producer and writer, born on August 8, 1968 in Pétion-Ville, Haiti. He debuted with Emmanuelle Forever (1993). He is best known for Tears of the Sun (2003), Heroes (2006-2010), and Joy (2015). He won the Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) award for Best Feature Film for Rattlesnakes (2019).
