American film and TV director and casting director, who grew up in Bloomfield, Connecticut to a Jewish family. She attended Southern Connecticut State University before she attended Pasadena City College. She worked in a talent company and soon left the company to become a talent scout. She is best known for Authors Anonymous (2014), Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman (1993) and The Dead Zone (2003).
