An Egyptian writer and officer who joined the intelligence service in the early sixties. Then, several years later, he assumed the position of Deputy of the Egyptian General Intelligence Service. He wrote the series The Smack (2012), directed by Magdy Abu Emira and starring Sherif Mounir.
