American cinematographer, born in New York, the United States. He moved to Hollywood in 1968, where he began his artistic career working as an assistant to the Emmy Award-winning film director, Donald Morgan. His works include Unforgiven (1992) and The Bridges of Madison County (1995). He received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in California.
