An American actor, born in the state of Ohio, in the United States. He studied at the University of Toledo in his hometown. He began his career by working in a factory in the state of Alabama. He also worked as an English language teacher for high school students. He did not start acting until he was thirty years old. He is famous for several artistic works, including The Hot Zone (1997) and Magnolia (1999).
