Robert Stromberg is an American special effects artist, designer and filmmaker. He worked in major blockbuster films like James Cameron's Avatar, Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland and Sam Raimi's Oz the Great and Powerful. He earned the Academy Award for Best Art Direction twice. He made his directorial debut in 2014 with the Disney film Maleficent, starring Angelina Jolie.
