Australian cinematographer, born on May 26, 1943, in Renmark, Australia. He is a member of the Australian Cinematographers Society since 1975. He was awarded the Order of Australia in the Queen's New Years Honours List in 2002 for his services to the arts of cinematography. His notable films include: The Road Warrior (1981), Dead Calm (1989), and Apocalypto (2006).
