An American actor and musician, born on July 13, 1946 in Los Angeles, California, USA. He is of Mexican descent. He studied at California State University, Northridge. He began his career in 1971. His notable films include films include Up in Smoke (1978), Born in East L.A. (1987), and From Dusk Till Dawn (1996). He formed a comedy duo with Tommy Chong, and they released several comedy albums.
