An American actor and writer, born on December 1, 1951, in Connecticut. He made his film debut in the 1975 horror flick Deadly Hero. In 1979, he participated in Milos Forman's Hair. His other notable work includes The Phantom (1996), Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead (1995), and Deep Rising (1998). In 1996, Williams was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Miniseries or a Special for his role in The Late Shift (1996).
