American actor and former member of the military born on 12 April 1936 in Kentucky. He joined the US military in 1952 and after being discharged he pursued his acting career. His works include Rambo: First Blood Part II, The Blues Brothers, and Silence of the Lambs. He died on 5 August 2011.
