Ziad was born in Tunisia in 1972. He holds a master's degree in economics and management and a diploma in screenwriting. He started acting in the theater after his apprenticeship with Tawfiq El Jabali. He portrayed the character of Othello in his first appearance in 1998. He Switched between theatre, television and cinema. He appeared in his portrayal of Wahshi Ibn Harb in the series Omar, directed by Hatem Ali.
