American comedian, actor, singer, director and writer, born on March 16, 1926 in Newark, New Jersey, USA. He formed a comedy duo with Dean Martin in 1946, which gained wide fame under the name Martin and Lewis. Then he went solo and starred in many comedy films that gained international fame. He's known for The Nutty Professor (1963), The King of Comedy (1982), and The Family Jewels (1965). He died on August 20, 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
