His notable work includes Viva Zapata! (1952), Dr. No (1962), and Lawman (1971). He went on to work on...Read more Broadway in 1938, participating in Shakespeare's King Lear and Chekhov's Uncle Vanya. He had a successful stage career and achieved great fame during the forties. He began his TV career in the early fifties in addition to his cinematic career, but he did not give up his theatrical work. He died on October 19, 2009.
