An Egyptian writer and poet, known for his songs in the sixties. Among his most famous collections of poems are "Nights of Forgotten Time" (1974), "Possible" (1996), and "Commandments" (1997). Among his songs are "Kamil Al Awsaf" by Abdel Halim Hafez, "El Oyoun El Kawahil" by Fayza Ahmed, and "Shababeek" by Mohamed Mounir.
