An American actress born in New Ulm, Minnesota, USA on January 19, 1930. She won the Golden Globe Award in 1964 for The Birds (1963). She married the actor Peter Griffith (1952-1961), and they got a child. Then, she married the producer Noel Marshall (1964-1982) and married Luis Parnicia (1985-1995). In 2002, she married the producer Martin Dennis. Her works include Marnie, Roar, and Tea with Grandma.
