An undersecretary at the Ministry of Information, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Radio and Television Training Institutes, Director of Radio Skits at Cairo and Voice of the Arabs stations, and Professor of Radio at the Higher Institute of Theatrical Arts in Giza. He directed the rare radio operetta One Thousand and One Nights, in addition to many other works. He died on February 26, 2014.
