A Scottish actor and producer, born in Clydebank, Dunbartonshire, Scotland, United Kingdom. He married Annie Harris on May 24, 2000. His works include Highlander, Braveheart, Troy, and The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. He is also known for his role as Jeor Mormont in the series Game of Thrones.
