Kevin Smith is an American screenwriter, actor, film producer and director. He debuted in 1994 by writing, producing and directing the hit film Clerks. He then went on to make low-budget independent films that were famous for their recurring characters and intersecting stories. His most notable works include Chasing Amy, Cop Out, Red State and Tusk.
