An American singer and actress, born on November 26, 1939, in Tennessee. She is a multi-award winning musician, and was nicknamed the Queen of Rock 'n' Roll. She also starred in several films. She is one of the best-selling singers in the world, as she has managed to sell nearly 200 million copies of her music records. She also sold more concert tickets than any solo artist. Tina Turner formed a famous singing duo with her ex-husband, Ike Turner. She started singing in 1958. Tina Turner has won eight Grammy Awards.
