Carrie Preston is an American film and television actress known for her performances on HBO’s raunchy vampire drama “True Blood” (2008-2013) as Arlene, “The Good Wife” (2010-2013), and “Person of Interest” (2012-2013). In 2013, she won an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actress on “The Good Wife.” She’s also appeared in “My Best Friend’s Wedding” (1997), “Doubt” (2008), and “Vicky Cristina Barcelona” (2008). In 2012, Preston ventured into directing with "That's What She Said," which was admitted to Sundance's 2012 festival, but was universally panned by critics.
