He is an Irish-American actor, born on June 19, 1983, in Dublin. After graduating from school in 2004, he appeared in several plays at the National Theater in Ireland, the most famous of which are Romeo and Juliet, and A Cry from Heaven. In 2008, Turner starred in the popular Irish television drama The Clinic. His notable roles in films include The Hobbit trilogy (2012-2014) and The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (2013).
