Liana Mendoza is an actress, singer, dancer, hypnotherapist and a blood relative of the iconic Latin singer Vicente Fernandez, the "King of Ranchera." She was born in Spain on November 19, 1984. She is of Mexican, Spanish, Italian, Russian Jewish and Native American descent. She started performing as a tap dancer at age 3, and joined dance companies specializing in salsa, folkloric, ballet, modern jazz and hip-hop dance. As a teen, she studied music and voice, was a member of glee club, was voted class valedictorian and then invited to attend the prestigious Hamilton High School for Performing Arts. She got a degree psychology and subsequently opened up her own hypnotherapy practice, after which she got her breakout role on the hit Latin show "Estudio 2" in 2005.
