American screenwriter, playwright, and theater actor, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. He graduated from Highlands High School in 1968. He earned a degree in theater arts from the University of Kentucky in 1972. His works include The Fly (1986), DragonHeart (1996), and D.O.A. (1988).
