An American actor, born October 15, 1946, Davenport, Iowa, and grew up in the Mississippi River Valley. He began acting while attending the University of Iowa, where he helped found the New Performing Arts Center. He dropped out of college and enrolled in the American Conservatory of Music Theater in San Francisco. He debuted through the TV horror movie Killer Bees (1974), followed by the movie The Happy Hooker (1975).
