A Syrian film director, who studied cinema in Armenia. He debuted in 2002 through the feature film Salty Skin. He worked as an assistant director to Abdel Latif Abdel Hamid in his movie Out of Coverage (2007). He acted in the short film Farewell (2008). He wrote and directed the short fiction film Everyday Story (2008), and has a long documentary film, The Flint Mountains (2009).
