Haitham Dabbour is a novelist and screenwriter, he wrote for the cinema a number of films such as Gunshot (2018) and A Stand Worthy of Men (2021). He won a number of awards such as Best Screenplay at the Oran Film Festival for Photocopy (2017). He also wrote a number of short films and documentaries which received critical acclaim, including Odd (2013), and Tahrir 2011: The Good, the Bad, and the Politician (2011). His literary works achieved critical and public success, such as the novels "The Cross of Moses" and "Ban".
