A Turkish writer, director and producer, born on February 14, 1961 in Istanbul. He graduated from Ege University, Faculty of Arts, Department of Sociology. Moreover, he studied at Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Dramatic and Performing Arts, and Dramatic Writing. He is famous for the the series Time Goes By, Çoban Yildiz, and Firildak Ailesi, as well as the movie Kus.
