Alden Ehrenreich is an American actor who was born on November 22, 1989, in Los Angeles, California, United States. He is of Ashkenazi Jewish heritage (his ancestors came from Russia, Austria, Hungary, and Poland). He began his career in 2005 and was discovered by Steven Spielberg at the Bat Mitzvah of a friend of Spielberg's daughter. In 2009, Ehrenreich co-founded the theater/film company (Collectin) with Zoë Worth.
