A Canadian writer and producer, born in London, England. He studied social psychology at the London School of Economics and Political Science, then immigrated to Canada in 1974, where he published three novels and more than forty short stories. He also participated in writing for cinema and became famous through the movie Penny Dreadful in 2006, and the movie The Frankenstein Theory in 2013.
