He is an Irish actor, born on April 5, 1960, in Tralee, Ireland. While working as a bouncer, he launched his acting career in Dublin, where he studied at Focus Theater. He also had a job in New York City construction. He is known for National Treasure: Book of Secrets (2007), Appaloosa (2008), and The Lone Ranger (2013). He received the 2013 BuzzFocus Readers' Choice Award for "Best Villain" for his role in Sons of Anarchy (2011-2013).
