An American actress, born in Los Angeles, California, United States to British actress Samantha Eggar and American producer Tom Stern. Her brother Nicolas Stern is a film producer. She graduated from the University of California at Berkeley in 1990 and joined the Graduate Acting Program at New York University, obtaining a Master of Fine Arts in 1993. Her credits include 16 Blocks (2006), Hitch (2005), and Wonder Wheel (2017).
