A Turkish actor of Kurdish descent, born on November 4, 1967, in Hakkari, Turkey. He spent his childhood in Ankara and then moved with his family to Istanbul. He quit his civil engineering studies at Istanbul Technical University to join a theater troupe. In 1988, he founded his own theater troupe, called Güldüşündürü. His most notable work includes Vizontele, Once Upon a Time in Anatolia, The Butterfly's Dream, and The Water Diviner.
