An American actor, born September 7, 1891, in San Bernardino County, California. Studied at the California Military Academy and the University of Southern California. At the age of fifteen, he made his stage debut, then participated in silent films by Christie's Comedy Studios, bringing him fame. He participated in many comedies and crime films. His films include Life of the Party (1920), The Ten Commandments (1923), The Midnight Express (1924), Wings (1927), It Happened One Night (1934), Woman of the Year (1942). He died February 6, 1970 at the age of 79 in Los Angeles.
