American film actor, born on April 1, 1885. He made his debut in 1913. He won the Academy Award for Best Actor for his role in the movie The Champ. He participated in a number of works, including: Dinner at Eight (1933), The Lost World (1925), and Three Ages (1923). He died of a heart attack on April 15, 1949.
