American actor, born in Saint Simons Island, Georgia, USA, on February 17, 1936. He is considered one of the greatest football players in American football. In 1959, he got married to Sue Brown, with whom he had three children. They got divorced in 1972, then in 1998 he got married to Monique Brown, with whom he had two children. His debut in the cinema was in the movie Rio Conchos (1964). He was known cinematically for his strong role in the movie The Dirty Dozen in 1967, where he played the role of the commando "Jefferson". In the early seventies Brown's popularity grew and he began to embody difficult roles, then he turned to television to increase his popularity. During the eighties he turned to play comedy roles in many films.
