An Indian writer, director and actor, born in Uttar Pradesh, India. He received a master's degree in theater from the National School of Drama in New Delhi in 1989. He made his writing debut in the film Tere Mere Sapne in 1996. Among his credits are Dil Se.. (1998), Haasil (2003) and Garmi (2023).
