Rick Jaffa is an American screenwriter, best known for working with his wife Amanda Silver as writers and co-producers of the science fiction film "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" (2011) and its sequel "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" (2014). They also co-wrote "Jurassic World", and James Cameron's third installation to "Avatar".
