Mark Hamill is an American actor who was born on September 25, 1951, in California and raised in New York and Japan as his father was a captain in the US Navy. He studied drama at Los Angeles City College and made his debut in 1970 on The Bill Cosby Show. He then played the role of Kent Murray on General Hospital and co-starred in the comedy show, The Texas Wheelers. Hamill then joined the cinematic world, but only with his voice in Wizards. He gained popularity through playing the role of Luke Skywalker in Star Stars: Episode IV- A New Hope (1977), Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980), and Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983). Hamill was seriously injured in a car crash but then returned to the theater and the cinema in the nineties, in which he was famous for playing the voice of the Joker on Batman: The Animated Series.
