He is an Iraqi director, born in Baghdad. He directed many series and films, the most important of which is the film At the Bottom of the City (2013). He also participated in television dramas through the series First Lesson (2012). He introduced new faces to Iraqi cinema, including actors Enas Taleb, Odai Abdel Satar, and Anam Al Rubaie. He is known for Virus (2020), The Madman and I (2014), and Love Me (2018).
