American film editor, born on April 28, 1938, in Los Angeles, California, USA. His father worked as an aircraft bomb manufacturer during World War II. He graduated from Cathedral High School in Los Angeles, California. He made his debut in 1957. He worked with Henry Mancini as a music editor. He is known for RoboCop (1987), Die Hard (1988), and Basic Instinct (1992).
