American actor born on 27 May 1955 in Bethesda, Maryland, US. He studied theater and acting at the City College of New York. His most notable works include The West Wing (1999-2006), which earned him an Emmy Award, Man of Steel (2013), Se7en (1995), and The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997). He married Sheila Kelly and they have 2 children.
