American producer, director, and actor. He was born in Detroit, Michigan, USA. He studied at Beverly Hills High School, and after that, he joined Stanford University to study industrial engineering. He began directing films in the mid-fifties. He was also famous for his prolific production, as he had previously presented nine films in one year. He also made the film Little Shop of Horrors (1960), which he said he finished filming in two days and one night. He is known for Frankenstein Unbound (1990) and The Wild Angels (1966).
