American producer born on 12 July 1951 in Los Angeles, California, US. He co-founded Imagine Entertainment with director and producer Ron Howard. He won three Primetime Emmy Awards. His works as a producer include A Beautiful Mind (2001), for which he won an Academy Award, as well as Arrested Development (2003-2019), Apollo 13 (1995), and Splash (1984).
