A South African musician, composer and guitarist. born in Johannesburg, South Africa, to a family of musicians. In 1972, he joined the band Rabbitt, which became the most successful rock band ever in South Africa. He left Rabbitt to pursue a solo career in London, where he released three solo albums. After he moved to Los Angeles, he became the guitarist of the progressive rock band Yes from 1983 to 1995. Among his credits are Max (2015), The Misfits (2021), and The Sorcerer's Apprentice (2010).
