An Italian actor, born in Orvieto, Italy, to Tina and Rimazio Cantarini. He has lived in Rome and Paris. He made his cinema debut at the age of only five in Roberto Benigni's La vita è bella in a role for which he won the Jackie Coogan Award (Young Artist Award), becoming the youngest winner of this award and the only Italian to receive it. He later appeared in Ridley Scott's Gladiator (2000). He worked on two occasions for the US brand Hallmark. He took a break from the world of cinema to focus on his studies and on sports, but during that time, he continued to make guest appearances on Italian television. In 2007, he returned to the big screen with the film Il giorno la notte poi l'alba. In 2012, he won a place at the prestigious Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, graduating in 2014. Upon graduation, he was cast in the leading role of the web series AUS: Adotta uno studente. In early 2018, he moved to New York and studied at the New York Film Academy. He was later cast in the movie Lamborghini: The Man Behind the Legend.
