A British writer, director, and producer who was born in Marlborough, Britain. He wrote several scripts for British television programs, including Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? and The Detectives. He wrote some films, including Dirty Pretty Things (2002) and Eastern Promises (2007). He directed Locke (2013).
